Getting Started

How do I become a seller?

Apply to become a seller here. Once approved, you can create courses, sell digital products, or list handmade items.

What can I sell on Gwanga?

You can sell: online courses, digital downloads (templates, guides), handmade products, artisan crafts, and mentorship services.

Is there a fee to join?

No setup or monthly fees. We only take a commission when you make a sale.

For Course Creators

How much can I earn?

Sellers keep 70% of each course sale. The average course creator earns $500-$2,000 per month, with top creators earning $10,000+.

What equipment do I need?

At minimum: a decent microphone, webcam or camera, and screen recording software. Many sellers start with just a smartphone.

For Handmade Sellers & Artisans

I’m a handmade artisan. Can I sell my crafts?

Absolutely! Gwanga welcomes handmade sellers. You can list physical products, take custom orders, and connect directly with buyers.

How do I ship my products?

You handle shipping directly. Set your shipping rates and processing time in your seller dashboard. We recommend reliable courier services with tracking.

Can I offer custom orders?

Yes! Enable custom order requests in your shop settings. Buyers can message you with specific requirements.

What makes a good product photo?

Use natural lighting, simple backgrounds, and show multiple angles. Include a photo of the item in use or scale reference.

Payments & Fees

What fees do sellers pay?

Commission ranges from 15-30% depending on your seller plan. No listing fees for handmade products.

How and when do I get paid?

Payments process weekly to your connected bank account or mobile wallet. Minimum payout is $25.

Who pays for shipping?

Buyers pay shipping costs you set. You can offer free shipping and build it into your product price.

Policies

Can I sell on other platforms too?

Yes! We don’t require exclusivity. You can sell on Gwanga and other platforms simultaneously.

Who owns my content/products?

You retain full ownership. You grant Gwanga a license to host and sell on our platform.

What if a buyer wants a refund?

Digital products: 7-day refund if not downloaded. Handmade products: case-by-case for damaged or misrepresented items.
